QuestBridge Scholars Network at Grinnell
The Grinnell College QSN Chapter provides a welcoming and supportive community for its members. QuestBridge Scholars can engage in chapter activities, apply for leadership positions, and participate in opportunities offered nationwide through QuestBridge, including access to QuestBridge Alumni Association resources.
Founded in 2011, the Grinnell QSN Chapter has built relationships with a variety of resources on campus and has worked to create thoughtful programs focused on career development, transition to college, and academic success. For example, in past years, the chapter has offered a textbook lending library that ensures that all low-income students have access to books and has hosted events that offer Scholars assistance with filling out taxes.
Outside of regular chapter meetings, the Grinnell QSN Chapter has hosted numerous events, including a Homeless Awareness Event, Social Class Awareness Month, and a Food Recovery Event. There are also always opportunities for underclassmen to get involved in chapter leadership and initiatives. Each year, newly appointed chapter leaders and Executive Board members work together to plan new programming to ensure chapter members feel welcomed and engaged.
