Standardized Testing

A GMAT or GRE score is required to apply for the Graduate School Match:MBA. Scores are valid for five years. You may want to consider taking these tests during college when you are still accustomed to taking tests. Standardized tests are just one part of your MBA application and is considered among many factors in the holistic review process by QuestBridge and our partner institutions. There are many test prep resources available at a range of costs, including some that are free.

  • GregMat - offers 1 or 2 month study plans for those who with a short timeframe to take the GRE
  • Magoosh - low-cost, robust self-study plan for GMAT and GRE
  • Manhattan Prep - variety of GMAT prep options from in person to live online to private tutoring to accelerated
  • MBA Exam Prep - free GMAT practice exams and past questions plus add-ons
  • Princeton Review - robust GMAT and GRE prep with online and in person options
  • Target Test Prep - online GMAT study plan customization based on past performance
  • Varsity Tutors - small online group classes at a variety of times and start dates for GMAT and GRE

There are limited test fee waivers available. You can inquire directly with MBA admissions offices to request one. MBA programs are eligible to receive and distribute 10 GMAT fee waivers a year. Additionally, your undergraduate financial aid office may offer GMAT or GRE fee waivers. If you are still an undergrad or recent grad, you may want to inquire with your financial aid office.
