Developing Career Goals

College is your time to explore multiple career paths and acquire the skills to best prepare you for your future. It's important to take time to reflect on your expertise, interests, and passions because the intersection of these areas can help point you in the right direction on your career path. Here are some ways to get you started:

Reflect on your strengths

Once a year, set aside dedicated time to fill out our Intention Setting worksheet, which has thought-provoking questions posed by QuestBridge Co-Founder Ana McCullough. Allow your answers to change and evolve during your undergraduate years. Adapting is a valuable part of the journey.

Learn from career experts on campus

Make a habit of visiting the career services center at least once a year to learn about workshops, internships, networking sessions, and more. And remember, your campus faculty are accomplished and knowledgeable experts in their field. Feel free to ask them about their research, career path, or academic journey during one of your office hour visits.
